Welcome

Welcome to Sex-Life-Balance

And how wonderful, that you have found the way. Here, Relationship and Sexual Therapy have their base in anti-racism, multi culturalism, social criticism, sensitivity towards trauma, neurodiversity and queer ideals.

My name is Annette Schindler and I am a Sexual Therapist. As a trained naturopath of psychotherapy, I have taken part in further education at the “Institut für Beziehungsdynamik” (Institute for relationship dynamics) in Berlin, working now as a relationship and sex therapist.

In addition to that, I have been conveying knowledge around sexuality in a multitude of areas around sexuality for year. This includes founding and running the alternative sex shop “Other Nature” with Sarah Rodehizer in 2011, organizing sex ed for queer teenagers and accompanying self-awareness groups for women around the topic of sex.

Any form our relationships and sexual expressions may take, should be as individual as humans themselves. Within our work, I will incorporate your experiences and point of view concerning sexuality and relationship and accompany your personal development.

Sexuality is relationship
Sexuality is love, is political, is hot, is complicated.

Sexuality is expression and sexuality is impression.

Sexuality is body and sexuality is fantasy.

Sexuality is part of our life,
formed between taboos, corny Hollywood displays and sexualized media outlets.

Sexuality is the form of art to know oneself and one’s desires and being able to communicate these.

You will be accompanied by me within your topic. Opening a safer space for my clients and meeting you with respect are my highest priority.

My psychological work is trauma-sensitive, neurodivergent and influenced by an intersectional view.

I am an LGBTQAI+ lover and pro sex work.

Kindness and the joy of life are key elements of our encounter as well.

My therapeutic range connects the methods of talk therapy and the methods of bodywork. We will stay dressed and I will guide you through your body almost exclusively with words. Touching will only be an occasional supportive measure for self-awareness.

Talk therapy with a body-oriented approach can be held in German or English.
